dustin's birthday

dustin requested a chocolate cake with butter cream frosting for his big 2-5 b-day, so of course i delivered. i even one upped his butter cream frosting to caramel butter cream frosting, which required me to make my own caramel! now, that was a feat in and of itself. thank you martha for providing me with an excellent chocolate cake recipe and frosting recipe :)



and because i couldn't leave my roommates out, i made a batch of cupcakes with the leftover batter and frosting. the chocolate sprinkles topped them off nicely...
