i'm taking a sewing class! i already know how to sew, but i haven't had proper instruction since i was in high school home-ec. so now i'm learning how to make a dress. i'm going to stitch dc near capitol hill. it is a lot of fun and future posts are coming about it! we are using the book pictured here. built by wendy

Do you have a sewing machine or does everything happen at the seewing studio? I would love to learn to sew, but I don't have a machine. I'll have to look and see if they have any shops like that in Phoenix!
i just bought one. it is a basic refurbished janome - but before that, the shop let me use their machines. i recommend it! it is mucho fun :)
