|1||cup brown sugar|
|1/2||cup shortening, softened|
|2||cups all-purpose flour|
|3/4||teaspoon baking powder|
|3/4||teaspoon baking soda|
|1/3||cup sour cream|
|lots of crushed cashews, chunks of dark cashews, and chopped apricots|
bake at 350 degrees for 10-11 minutes (i used a small ice cream scoop to form nice little uniform balls. they didn't really brown on top, but the edges of the bottoms were a little tan.
and like i said - manzo didn't hate them :)

manzo didn't hate them...
i experimented with a new recipe. i had the day off, so i decided to work with what i had... this is what you get... dark chocolate chunk apricot and cashew cookies. weird combo - i know. here's how you make them:
